          The 2010 SummerSlam was the 23rd annual SummerSlamprofessional wrestlingpay-per-view (PPV) event produced by World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE).

          It was held for wrestlers from the promotion's Raw and SmackDownbrand divisions. The event took place on August 15, 2010, at Staples Center in Los Angeles, California for the second consecutive year.
