• The 59th annual Dover Steam Show will be held at the Tuscarawas County Fairgrounds in Dover the weekend of Aug.

DOVER ‒ The popular steam traction engines once manufactured in nearby Massillon will be one of the brands featured this summer at the 59th annual Dover Steam Show presented by the Tuscarawas Valley Pioneer Power Association.

The huge engines made by Russell & Company in the late 19th and early 20th century will share the feature spotlight with the ever-present John Deere brand at the show, which will be held the weekend of Aug.

18, 19 and 20 at the Tuscarawas County Fairgrounds in Dover.

Admission is $7 per person with children 12 and under admitted free. TVPPA memberships can be purchased before the show for $12 and guarantee entry to the show each day.

A variety of food vendors will be on the grounds.
