The One Show: Paul Whitehouse talks about creation on The Fast Show

BBC's The Fast Show was one of the most popular comedy sketch shows of the 1990s - spawning dozens of catchphrases, which are still in use today.

Johnny Depp was such a fan of the programme that he even agreed to guest star in one of their "suits you sir" sketches.

Having first launched in 1994, the show is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year, marking the occasion with a cast reunion for a special anniversary live tour.

Show creators Paul Whitehouse and Charlie Higson will be joined by Simon Day, Mark Williams, John Thomson and Arabella Weir to revive some of the most famous characters from the programme.

In the intervening years since the show ended, the cast have all kept busy - achieving further success in West End musicals, iconic TV shows, and Hollywood dramas.

However they have also suffered tragedy and serious health issues, and heartbreakingly lost a beloved cast member to cancer.
