Jeremy Kyle is set to make a shock return to ITV six years after his talk show was axed following the tragic death of a guest.

The talk show was taken off air back in 2019 after Ex-RNLI volunteer Steve Dymond appeared on the show in an attempt to prove to his on-off partner Jane Callaghan, then 48, that he did not cheat on her.

Sadly, Steve, 68, failed the lie detector test and just seven days later he was found dead after an overdose.

The Jeremy Kyle show was then cancelled after the tragic incident. TV host Jeremy, 59, faced immense backlash along with the show and Steve's sad death led to strict rules within the TV industry as welfare measures were revised.

Back in September, Jeremy insisted that his name had 'finally been cleared' after a coroner ruled there was 'no causal link' to the show and Steve's death. Now, six years after the incident, Jeremy is set to make his return to ITV.
