    Lisa Jarmon of Pearland was considered "family" by Ellen DeGeneres.

    The single mom was first noticed in the studio audience by DeGeneres during Season 8 of the talk show.

    Ellen met Lisa in 2011 and she appeared on The Ellen Show frequently over the years as she won over many fans with her contagious personality and enthusiasm.

    6. Jarmon began jumping up and down in her seat, excitement all over her face. DeGeneres brought Jordan back several times, gifting her with a car, home and money for medical bills.

    DeGeneres also dedicated the first seat Jarmon sat in to the local mom, affixing it with a plaque bearing her name.

    DeGeneres calls Jarmon "family" and "one of our favorite people that we've ever had on the show."

    Jarmon lost her battle with breast cancer in 2019. Her daughter, Kaylian Jarmon, joins DeGeneres Wednesday to honor her mother.

    "This was truly her favorite place to be in the entire world, in space, in the galaxy," Kaylion Jarmon tells DeGeneres.

    "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" airs at 3 p.m.
